Enneagram triads are often referred to as the “centers of intelligence.” These centers make up the three basic building blocks of the human psyche: Heart (feelings), Head (thoughts), and Gut (instincts).

Understanding the triads is useful for knowing how we process information and deal with our emotions. Each triad exposes an imbalance in the ways we either overuse or underuse our Heart, Head, and Gut.
